On a local note...
I think it's a shame that the new La Canada town square development doesn't include any housing. I think the town and the developers have missed a golden opportunity.

This Atlantic article is an excellent look at future housing patterns in the US. What is happening in downtown Los Angeles is very exciting. It is worth checking out if you haven't.
The future for outlying areas such as Riverside County don't look so bright if this article is accurate. I guess the lesson to take from it is the only thing that stays the same is constant change.
